The Project:
Design and implement a job-skill and available-position
matching application for executive recruitment based on
the old IntelliMatch software system. The application
had to allow job seekers to post their resumes, have
their skills extracted from their resumes (based on a
lexicon of job skills), and set up an agent to watch
job postings for potential matches. It also had to
allow recruiters to post job, long and short list
candidates, perform background checks on candidates,
and screen candidates with up to five questions of their
