The Project:
Re-launch the Patagonia website (including an online
store, company information, and outdoor-related
articles) with a completely new site architecture,
navigation, look and feel, and back-end system (IBM
WebSphere 3.0).
What I did:
Advised client on usability issues such as
navigation, file size, and image compression
Created optimized web images (gif/jpg) from provided
Photoshop mockups
Created HTML templates for the first-level and several
different second-level pages
Created JavaScript for the product page, the home page,
and the 2nd-level nav rollovers
Integrated front-end look and feel into IBM WebSphere
JSPs and NetCommerce macros for the shopping flow,
checkout process, order tracking, store locator, grant
locator, and search areas of the site
Tested cross-browser and cross-platform functionality of
all HTML and JavaScript
The Project:
Launch a new version of the Patagonia online store with
improved shopping flow, and checkout features, including
cross-sell items and a search that returned no results
much less often. The site also went through another
complete navigation and look-and-feel redesign.
